I manage the eleven-person team responsible for the University of Washington's Student Information System, the central administrative records system for students. The system supports the Division of Admissions and Records, the Student Accounts Office, Office of Student Financial Aid, Student Loans and Receivables Office, academic departments, and many other student services offices. My family lives in Edmonds, Washington about 18 miles north of the UW. Thanks to the Washington State Department of Transportation it's easy to check on my I-5 commute. (The commute doesn't seem so bad now that I've got my Volvo C70 coupe).
My primary hobby is maintaining my five-year-old daughter Anne's web page.
My younger sister Micki has completed her graduate program in Technical and Scientific Communication at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and is now a first-year student at Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
